Networking Event in Zurich 19.09.2026
Dear Socialites in Switzerland,
We are happy to invite you to our next physical networking event in Zurich on September 19.
Ambassador: Yana Blazhko, Art Curator
Theme: Art Gallery Crawl in Zurich
Time: 14:00 CET (Zurich)
Location: Emailed upon registration on the website (Zurich)
The entry fee for this physical event is 25 Swiss francs including a welcome drink and basic snacks (late-bird price will increase to 35 if booked less than 48 hours until the start of the event).
A Saturday for meeting great people and connecting over something beautiful, transformative, and thought-provoking — art. Whether you're an art lover just starting to look closer, or a collector with years of experience already behind you, this afternoon has something for you.
We'll meet in central Zürich and move, guided by our very own Ambassador Yana Blazhko, together — on foot, along Rämistrasse and beyond — through three exciting galleries, each with its own voice, its own world. This isn't a traditional guided tour: each gallery gives us its own introduction to the exhibition and its artists, and then leaves plenty of room for questions, conversation, and simply experiencing the work at our own pace.
Along the way, we'll get direct access to the gallerists themselves — ask your questions, get a closer look at the works, and even open the door to acquiring pieces by artists held in the Swiss National Bank's collection, and other hidden gems of the collecting world. We'll lift the curtain on collecting itself — how to approach it, what to ask, the quiet ethics behind building a collection. And each exhibition will pull its own thread — the difficult, interesting questions these artists are actually asking.
**01 — Pascal Robert Gallery, Rämistrasse**
*Imprints — Deimantas Narkevičius*
A solo show by the Lithuanian artist, working across photography, film, and recorded imagery to sit with memory, history, identity, and the post-Soviet experience — unflinching, and hard to look away from. An intriguing place to start: an exhibition that asks how images preserve, distort, or transform the way we remember the past.
**02 — Fabienne Levy Gallery, Rämistrasse**
*Read These Leaves — Maria Kozak*
Bold, abstract-expressionist paintings, tapestries and drawings from a Polish artist who paints like she's thinking out loud — inspired in part by Walt Whitman and the idea of reading the world around us. Figures, animals, botanical forms, and landscapes emerge from layers of paint, sitting somewhere between recognition and mystery. Less a single interpretation, more an invitation.
**03 — Modern Animals, Zeltweg**
*Cosmogram — group show*
Our final stop: an independent gallery set within a courtyard, with an intimate, unconventional atmosphere — the perfect place to slow down. Seven artists (including Zurich-based Emily Hughes, known for playful miniatures and large-scale textile work) explore the idea of the imprint — that trace a truly good work of art leaves behind, letting us return to it again and again, from every angle, without ever running out of it. A kind of philosopher's stone hidden inside the object.
**ART → CONVERSATION → CONNECTION**
We start with art. We use it to start conversations. We see where those conversations take us. No long presentations, no fixed seating, no formal networking exercises — just a small group of interesting people, personal introductions from gallery professionals, spontaneous conversation, and a glass of Prosecco to finish the afternoon.
Come with questions. Come with none. Either way works. The schedule is intentionally flexible — we'd rather give each gallery room to breathe than rush from one stop to the next.
Please make sure you register on our website the-social.com to secure your spot! Clicking "Attend" on the Linkedin page or other social media websites is not sufficient for the confirmation.
